Our client, a well-established and award-winning AJ100 architectural practice, are seeking a talented and driven Architectural Technologist to join their growing Technical team based in their Sussex studio. The role will focus on the delivery of a variety of medium to large-scale projects, across the residential and mixed-use sectors.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to contribute to the technical delivery of projects from RIBA Stage 4 onwards, taking a lead in producing detailed design documentation and coordinating comprehensive construction information
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings and coordinating work with other disciplines, based on the client's brief, approved planning information, and consultants' data.
Basic Candidate Requirements -
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years' UK experience post-qualification
- Degree Qualification within Architectural Technology
- Strong technical expertise, ideally with exposure to residential and mixed-use schemes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge for Revit (essential)
- Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and legislation covering housing warranties
- Demonstrated experience in producing detailed construction packages including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and technical details
- Ability to coordinate drawings and information with other consultants and disciplines
- Confident in working independently to meet deadlines and client expectations
- Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail
