Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Facilities Architect to join our team in Springfield, VA. This organization supports mission critical government programs. This position will require extensive customer interaction in a service-oriented environment and will work with a small team of engineers and an Architect Professional (AP). Daily tasks will involve using SAP and AutoCAD. Position Responsibilities: Develops moderately complex conceptual designs, final designs and provides maintenance support for the architectural phases of buildings, equipment installations, utility systems and grounds
Leads and develops projects from early concept through design development
Prepares drawings, specifications, and construction documents
Reviews and documents facilities building projects
Consults with clients to determine their requirements
Coordinates preliminary architectural studies for major new structures and alterations to existing structures and facilities development
Works with teams across building facilities and engineering lines of effort, and coordinate with subcontractors
Resolves design issues with innovative and practical solutions
Modifies existing plans to fit client needs Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): AutoCAD experience
Architectural experience
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture pre-start Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years' Architectural experience
