Job Title: USA Swim Team Head CoachJob Purpose - Actively sell, market, and promote Club Fit USA Swim Team
- Plan, organize, and implement effective swim team protocols to ensure an outstanding Aquatics Swim Team Program
Manages Operations - Market, promote and sell all swim team programs including, but not limited to short and long course Swim Team programs, by making telephone calls and emails to ensure repeat business, interacting with swimmers and parents, following up with new clients and actively seeking referrals
- Attend and direct all swim practice and meet schedules, ensuring that the team members are certain that we care about their well being
- Complete Swim Team entries and registrations for all swim meets
- Communicate effectively with USA and Metro Swimming governing bodies
- Work collaboratively with the Aquatics Director to ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner for swim meets and USA fees
- Show attention to detail by ensuring that all swim team participants have a completed and signed registration form on file for each season, all team fees have been paid and swimmer financials are up to date for each billing cycle
- Effective and concise communication with parents via Team Unify
- Responsible for achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term client retention in line with company vision and values
- Maintain accurate daily time reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
Staff Results - Recruit, screen, select, and train the highest caliber of Assistant Swim Coaches
- Provide feedback to Aquatics Director for regularly scheduled performance evaluations and pay reviews
- Monitor and ensure that all swim coaches have current certifications
- Coach and discipline assistant coaches, including staff meetings
- Provide ongoing training for all swim team staff to reinforce department standards and provide opportunities for enhancement of professional skills
Department Strategy and Planning - Assist with program development for all swim team programs to include short and long Course Swim Team, demonstrating a commitment to embracing the neighborhood
- Develop and maintain yearly swim calendar, including meets, for all parents. Plan annual parent's meeting to be held at the beginning of every season
- Hold annual and ongoing tryouts as needed
- Work collaboratively with the Fitness Director for Dryland schedule, including goals and expectations
- Communicate effectively with Aquatics Director, Managers on Duty, and all necessary key staff
Professional and Technical Knowledge - 1Huddle Compliance Training
- Ongoing Club Fit Training
- Hold current Nationally Sanctioned Swim Coach certification with USA Swimming, ASCA a bonus
- Education and Experience
- Five years competitive Aquatic coaching experience
- Other
Team Work - Maintain a positive relationship with members, colleagues, manager and other Club Fit staff by providing genuine hospitality
- Partner with swim team parents to address their questions, comments, concerns and needs
- Respond to Member feedback (if applicable)
- Interact and work with staff at all levels in the club
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment
Job Requirements Ability to:
- Sit, stand and walk around for extended periods of time
- Lift 25 lbs
- Understand and communicate both verbally and written in English

Reporting Structure - Direct Line to Aquatics Director
Pay Range $36-$40/ hr
