The Bellevue Club Fitness Department is seeking an Aqua Zumba or Aqua Fitness Instructor to lead regularly scheduled group classes in our state-of-the-art aquatics center at the Bellevue Club.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Instruct group Aqua Zumba, Aqua Dance or Shallow Aqua Aerobics classes, Fridays 9:00-9:50am
- Plan and teach fun, effective, and safe workouts to our members.
- Must be able to provide modifications and modify intensity for all fitness levels to ensure member safety.
- Maintains current knowledge of practices related to the fitness industry through continuing education, specifically in the instruction of aqua aerobics classes.
- Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing to connect with members and create a strong community.
- Must be well-versed in basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, and exercise modifications & progressions for a variety of populations.
The successful candidate should have the following experience and qualifications: - Aqua Zumba certification and/or Aquatic Fitness certification.
- CPR/AED certification.
- Previous experience leading water-based fitness classes is preferred.
