Summary: The Applications System Administrator position is responsible for the use, optimization, customization, documentation and end user support of the following systems:

FCM Suite: imaging (deposits, loans and HR), capture, document retention, reports, security, Deposit Origination archive process, nCino archive process, file import process and FCM Workflows.

Homeport Intranet: document management, content management, upgrade and technical support in conjunction with our IT staff and the vendor, and end user support in creating and managing content.

IMM Adobe eSign: identifying eSign needs, building workflows and supporting end users while working with Risk Management to ensure eSign requirements are documented and adhered to.

iAutomate: identifying needs, building workflows and customizing processes to support automation of various banking functions throughout the Bank.

This position may also provide backup support for other retail banking systems as needed.

This is a supervisory position which includes managing the Imaging Support staff, who handle daily processing associated with each of the FCM systems and Homeport and provide first level branch staff support for these systems.

Grade: 19 Range: $77,968.80 - $100,502

This position may be eligible for an annual bonus depending on business factors and if the employee meets eligibility criteria.

Essential Functions:
  • Manage the Imaging Support staff, overseeing all daily processing, and develops skills of staff through coaching, training, counselling and performance management.
  • Models and ensures that staff actively learns, demonstrates and fosters the Kitsap Bank corporate culture in all actions and words.
  • Provide leadership, strategic direction, support and training for the various banking systems identified in the summary above, including new systems that may be added in the future.
  • Manage system modifications, upgrades and security changes which involves working closely with the IT department and outside vendors for application and product support.
  • Writes procedures for system processes and introduces them to staff as required.
  • Completes periodic reviews and audits and monitors monthly transaction volumes.
  • Monitors regulatory requirements relating to the systems and keeps staff informed and trained to ensure compliance with current policies and procedures.
  • Primary Business Continuity Program (BCP) team member for all systems represented in the summary above.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of monthly and annual reporting for the Board and other systems.
  • Prepares payroll and maintain employee attendance records.
  • Maintains the safety and confidentiality of customer information.
  • Performs all responsibilities in accordance with bank policies and complies with all security procedures, compliance regulations and safety procedures.
  • Assists support departments in helping to respond to questions.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • The qualified candidate will have a strong knowledge of banking systems, policies, guidelines and procedures.
  • Banking and supervisory experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in systems support and/or technical data analytics environment. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Outstanding planning, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Must be detail oriented with a focus on process improvement and problem solving.
  • Ability to effectively utilize computer technology including Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  • Ability to exercise sound, independent judgment, take initiative and work independently.
  • Effective leadership and management skills, must be a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent writing, communication and telephone skills.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
  • Position frequently involves hearing, speaking, fingering, standing, walking and repetitive motions of hands/wrists.
  • Requires use of close and distance vision.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and effectively communicate with Bank clients.
  • Ability to discern information and formulate appropriate action.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
