Our work depends on an Applications Developer - Mid joining our team to evolve and maintain network infrastructure for the Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration. HOW AN APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
• Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
• Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
• Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
• Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
• Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (Substitutions will be based on additional years of experience)

• Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
• Required Technical Skills: Application Development, Systems Engineering, System Administration, System Design, Software Applications, Technical Documentation, Knowledge Transfer

• Platform Experience - Salesforce, SharePoint, Appian, Power Apps, and ServiceNow.

• Security Clearance Level: DOE Q or TS

• Required Skills and Abilities: Written and Oral Communication; Organization, Problem Solving, Communication, and Teamwork.

• Location: Washington, DC

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
