Scope of Work This scope of work is for Applications Architect consulting services to provide design, team direction, technical guidance, code review, design documentation, and Azure cost analysis necessary to support operations of the Florida Department of Health (Department), Office of Information Technology (OIT). In addition, the Contractor will provide consulting services to integrate Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS) and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) services on the Department's end user computing devices.
Experience - Leadership of a successful development and implementation of an application in Azure environment.
- Six years of architect, design, and development experience with .NET application and Entity and Model View Controller (MVC) frameworks.
- Ten years of Object-Oriented programming, ASP.NET, JavaScript and application development using C .
- Four years of experience with Azure Build and Deployment automation processes.
- Three years of experience with Azure DevOps, including pipelines, triggers, blob storage, data migration (between cloud and on-premises).
- Three years of experience with integrating Azure AD into a web application using OpenID Connect.
- Two years of experience designing, implementing, and administering cloud-based Infrastructure-as-a- Service, (IaaS) solutions on either the Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) clouds.
- Two years of experience designing, implementing, and administering cloud-based Platform-as-a-Service solutions on either the Azure or AWS clouds.
- Two years of experience designing, implementing, and administering cloud-based security on either the Azure or AWS clouds
Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - As directed by the Department, research and evaluate new business solutions technologies and platforms to implement proof of concepts and/or document
- Assist in the development of technical documentation needed for regulatory reports or legislative budget requests, as directed by the Department.
- Design and document application architecture as directed by the Department.
- Provide technical training and guidance to develop team members, as directed by the Department.
- As directed by the Department, act as lead technical liaison for cloud solutions on the MSSP project to ensure project deliverables are integrated and project milestone requirements are met.
