Position Overview This position functions as an Information Technology Specialist who assists in managing and maintaining the enterprise applications in support of the business direction. This includes the ability to manage support-related work, assist on projects and perform problem resolution for various software and system components. Position will also be responsible for interfacing with business teams in support of projects and provide general knowledge of the enterprise applications.
Essential Job Functions - Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance enterprise applications and databases
- Ability to help manage system software, services, accounts, security and business systems
- Maintain an automated scheduling system
- Perform core system upgrades software and support systems
- Provide technical applications support to Five Star Bank staff
- Provide support for projects related to enterprise applications
- Interact with vendor support teams
- Work with CIO to ensure the department meets service quality standards
- Manage and monitor systems, events, and logs
- Provide support for disaster recovery scenarios
- Assist individuals to get maximum usefulness from applications
- Ability to work various hours and shifts
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
Preferred Background - Experience with Windows Server 2016
- Experience with Windows 10
- Experience with SQL database maintenance and support
- Experience with automating processes and reports
- Experience with IBM Cognos BI
- Superior organizational, communication, time management, problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated attention to details and ability to develop accurate documentation
- Ability to solve and troubleshoot technical problems
- Verbal, written and computer skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize to meet work deadlines
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- 2+ years of experience supporting core banking software solution, preferably with Jack Henry SilverLake core software
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills

- Ability to present a positive and professional image to all employees and customers
- Comply with all Anti-Money Laundering Laws and Regulations
Qualifications and Requirements - Associates Degree or higher in computer science, or closely related field, and/or 2+ years of professional experience
- 2+ years of experience working in regulated industry desirable
- Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with a diverse realm of customers, fellow employees, and vendors
Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this position, the employee is in regular communication, is required to use various tools or objects, and have the mobility to move about the office. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position that may require long hours or occasional weekend work.
Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although occasional out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. Employee must possess a valid driver's license and transportation to visit client sites and other branches.
