Application Support Specialist: We are seeking a proactive Application Support Specialist to provide technical expertise and business problem-solving for our ERP system. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, resolving business-critical problems, assisting users with navigation and report development, and optimizing workflows across Finance, Inventory, and Order Management modules in collaboration with business owners.
Responsibilities: Technical Support & Troubleshooting: - Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 end user support for ERP-related issues, ensuring timely diagnosis and resolution of technical and business process challenges.
- Troubleshoot business critical issues such as system errors, transaction discrepancies, and data integrity issues affecting business operations.
- Assist with ERP upgrades, patches, and system enhancements while ensuring mini mal downtime.
- Monitor system logs, error reports, and automated workflows, proactively identifying potential failures before they impact business operations.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to resolve server, network, and application connectivity issues affecting ERP system performance.
- Complete new user setup, resolve login issues, access permissions, and account lockouts.
- Support printers, barcode scanners, and peripheral device configurations.
- Diagnose and fix system slowdowns, freezing, timeouts, and memory leaks
- Troubleshoot user-reported issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.
Business Analytic Support & Optimization: - Collaborate with business teams to develop actionable reports and dashboards tailored to strategic needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports to support business operations and decision-making.
- Work with Power BI, Crysal Reports, or other business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights.
- Analyze and troubleshoot data-related issues, executing SQL queries to investigate problems and assist with reporting discrepancies.
Requirements - Strong knowledge of business processes in finance, inventory, supply chain, order fulfillment, or operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system and business process issues, working with users to identify solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to bridge the gap between technical solutions and business needs.
- Experience with reporting tools, such as Power Bi or Crystal Reports.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience using ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, Connectwise) to track and resolve issues.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical solutions to non-technical users.
Qualifications & Experience - 3+ years of experience in application support, business analysis, or related roles.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in information systems, computer science, or a technology-related field, or the equivalent experience
- ERP Experience a plus.
