Youll be working in the Application Support and Reliability (ASR) team which provides application support for the Reference Data & Azure Cloud suite of applications. You will be located in Nashville, Tennessee, and will be part of a global team that provides follow-the-sun support with other locations in Pune, India, and Zurich, Switzerland.

Responsibilities
  • Support data applications that will eventually migrate to the Azure Cloud Platform
  • Ensure workflows, processes, tooling, and applications meet the highest production quality standards
  • Contribute ITIL production expertise to the onboarding of existing and new IT products and services
  • Define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements
  • Assist in planning BCP, patching, and other infrastructure-related projects
  • Contribute to automating manual processes
  • Get involved in problem management to identify root causes and ensure issues don't reoccur
  • Maintain a knowledge database
Requirements
  • A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2-3 years hands-on experience with UNIX, SQL, and MS Office products
  • Experience with Business Intelligence Software (like MicroStrategy, PowerBI, etc.) is a plus
  • Azure Cloud knowledge is highly desirable
  • Experience with monitoring solutions, preferably Big Panda, AppDynamics, and/or Splunk
  • Use of or knowledge of automation tools like Automation Anywhere or IP center a plus
  • Proficient with tools such as ServiceNow, Confluence, JIRA, and batch scheduling tools like Autosys
  • Ability to solve complex issues, good at problem statement analysis and solution design thinking
  • Track record of building good relationships with IT stakeholders and business partners
  • Solid working knowledge of ITIL
  • Confident communicator and have excellent command of both written and spoken English
  • Able to accommodate periodic on-call and out-of-hours duties
