Job requirements

We are looking for an experienced Application Support and Deployment Engineer to support and deploy applications in a regulated financial services environment. This role requires hands-on expertise with AWS, system administration, middleware, and a strong understanding of secure and scalable infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Deploy and support applications for US and international clients
  • Create new environments and manage AWS-hosted infrastructure (Dev, UAT, Prod)
  • Perform software deployments and resolve issues, including outside regular hours
  • Collaborate with Technical Leads to improve service delivery
  • Maintain documentation for support issues and deployments
  • Support and configure Windows and Linux servers
  • Troubleshoot networking, SSL certificates, load balancers, IIS, and Tomcat
  • Automate tasks using PowerShell
  • Contribute to proof-of-concept and research projects
  • Ensure best practices for security and compliance in cloud environments
What We're Looking For:
  • 8-10 years of application, middleware, and web server support experience
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect Associate certification (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in regulated environments (financial services preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2012+, Linux systems, and middleware technologies
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog, Nagios, or Opsview
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
  • Bonus: Experience with SharePoint, Presconnect, Kofax, or Informatica
