Role Overview - The Enterprise Applications team is currently in need of an 'Application/Software Developer III' who will be skilled in configuration, integration, development and supporting Records Management System (RMS) and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) applications using Microsoft products and .Net programming languages.
- The position requires communicating with a project team, functional team, customers, service managers, project managers, and third-party vendors.
Roles and Responsibilities - Participating in project requirement gathering sessions.
- Preparing and maintaining software design documentation.
- Developing products to meet customer requirements.
- Supporting testing with customers and third-party vendors.
- Performing project delivery tasks within stated schedules.
- Staying informed on Public Safety industry standards and specifications related to product development.
Must Haves (Required) - At least Two (2) years of programming experience as Microsoft .Net developer with an emphasis in .Net, C , Rest API, T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS.
- At least 5 years of experience as Microsoft.net developer with an emphasis in .Net, C , Rest API, T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field.
Nice to Haves (Highly Desired) - RMS and CAD configuration, integration and development experience.
- Five (5) years of experience as Full Stack Microsoft .Net developer with hands-on programming experience in .Net, C , Rest API, XML/XSL, JSON, SQL server, SSIS, SSRS, and PowerBI.
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps or Git for source code version control and build/release management.
- Experience with public safety workflows, developing Public Safety applications, such as Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) and National Crime Information Center (NCIC) interfacing.
