Job Description:
Seeking an Application Security Architect with deep expertise in securing GCP-hosted applications and services. This role will focus on embedding security across the software development lifecycle, leading threat modeling and architectural reviews, and developing reusable cloud-native security patterns. The architect will also support secure CI/CD integration and advise on modern application-layer security threats.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years in application security, software engineering, or security architecture

• 3+ years hands-on GCP experience (IAM, Cloud Run, GKE, VPCs, Cloud Functions)

• Secure SDLC, CI/CD pipeline integration (Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions)

• Application-layer security tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning, secret detection)

• Strong programming background (Python, Java, Go, or Node.js)

• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, STRIDE, SANS CWE Top 25

Bonus / Soft Skills:

• Strong communicator with experience presenting technical risks to both engineering and leadership teams

• Experience developing reusable security design patterns for cloud-native environments

• Preferred certifications include GDSA, GCAD, GPEN, GXPN, GWEB, GCPN; additional certifications like SABSA, TOGAF, or GCP PCA are a plus
