Application Security Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Application Security Analyst to join the team of a large financial services client. This role will be part of the Markets Hub Vulnerability team. They will be assisting a Cyber Vulnerability Burndown due by August. They will also be responsible for new dashboard adoption and execution of the sustainability model. This role will include oversight of activities, artifacts, and product utilization. This person will be the main interface with stakeholders within the individual tactical unit and key in implementing the Application Security program, standards, process, and procedures within that unit.

Other day to day activities will include the following:

- Host office hours and have targeted conversations with app dev teams

- Work with application teams to make sure Jira and Jira repository looks good

- Help teams with Sonar Q adoption and code quality

- Responsible for collaborating with peer Architects for the normalization of the Application Security program across the enterprise.

- collaborating scorecards and metrics related to the performance of their tactical unit and for ensuring the integrity of application security control within the software development lifecycle

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors Degree in a related field

CISSP ( Certified Information Security Professional)

3+ years of experience with DevOps engineering

3+ years of experience analyzing cyber vulnerabilities and remediations

SonarQube
