Application Project Manager - Medical Machinery Builder
A leading medical machinery builder is seeking an Application Project Manager to support sales, manage technical projects, and assist customers with equipment applications. This role blends fieldwork, project ownership, and technical sales support-ideal for a self-starter who thrives on independence and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-sales technical support to sales reps and customers, ensuring proper selection and configuration of machinery.
- Review and manage incoming orders for technical accuracy and build feasibility.
- Own project timelines from order to production, coordinating across sales, engineering, and operations.
- Assist with estimating, quoting, and planning-developing layouts, cutsheets, and CAD blocks as needed.
- Deliver second-level technical support to field techs and customers, including occasional site visits.
- Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing to resolve issues and identify product improvements.
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience, ideally with capital equipment.
- Strong field communication and customer interaction skills.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD; knowledgeable in GD&T and document control.
- Able to self-manage workload and prioritize multiple active projects.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary up to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
