Job Title: Application Programmer V Actimize
Location : Jersey City, NJ 07302 (3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Remote in a week)
Duration: 12 Months contract

Required Skills and Experience:
Strong background in cloud data solutions, data transmission protocols and ETL processes
Strong understanding of data transmission protocols (HTTP, FTP, SFTP) and security best practices
Proficient in Java
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and data science workflows
Experience with IT Infrastructure build projects
Experience with Cloud infrastructure
Experience with Networking
Experience with SAN/NAS Storage
Experience with Citrix
Experience with RHEL and Windows Server platforms
Strong development background in Actimize, ActOne, Informatica 10.4 and Kapow products

Must have Technical Skills:
Actimize
Java
SQL

Job Description:
The key responsibilities include:
Designing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining data architectures, data transmission processes along with associated data quality measures.
Developing ETL processes to extract data from various sources and transform data to meet business needs working with tech-to-tech data providers, internal governance partners, and a vendor cloud solution.
Possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry, and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns.
Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements.
Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements.
Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
Designs/develops/modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
Designs/develops/maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
Use AWS tooling to efficiently roll out secure infrastructure practices including single sign-on authentication and roles based authorization control (RBAC) utilizing IAM identity and resource policies.
Sets up and develops a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline.
Automates manual release activities.
Mentors other Software Engineers and coaches team on CI-CD practices and automating tool stack. Individual contributor
