Akkodis is seeking an
Application Programmer for a
Contract job with a client in
Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) . The role involves designing, coding, testing, and debugging applications in the Global Financial Crimes environment while collaborating with business partners to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are met.
Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Application Programmer job responsibilities include: - Collaborate with business partners to define requirements and ensure application changes meet acceptance criteria.
- Write, test, debug, and document code for software applications.
- Partner with multiple technology teams to implement target architecture and migrate to a strategic platform.
- Utilize Java, Angular, and other technologies for full-stack development, including multi-threading, collections API, and JDBC.
- Perform performance tuning for data-intensive applications.
- Work in an Agile environment, contributing to software development processes and methodologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, applying strong problem-solving skills.
- Ensure high-quality software delivery with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
Desired Qualifications: - BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 8-10 years of full-stack Java application development experience.
- Strong core Java skills, including multi-threading, collections API, and JDBC.
- 4+ years of experience with Angular and knowledge of performance tuning for data-intensive applications.
