Summary:

Meta is looking for an experienced, self-driven Anaplan Application Manager who is responsible to deliver scalable solutions to enable high impact business outcomes and ensure availability, performance, efficient operation and support of Anaplan. The ideal candidate will have experience with enabling and improving business processes with Anaplan along with a proven history of successfully managing Anaplan at scale. The Meta Application Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to develop product strategy, roadmaps, design, build, and deploy Anaplan solutions, dashboards, and reports, ensuring they align with business objectives, requirements and metrics. The candidate will also be responsible for planning, project delivery, and managing stakeholder engagement, training and communications and providing support to end users.

Required Skills:

Application Manager, Anaplan Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop product strategy, roadmaps, impact metrics, gather requirements and provide solutions, support and maintain Anaplan Application that achieves desired business outcomes.
  2. Ensure application stability, security, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  3. Collaborate with other Application Managers, Engineers and business stakeholders to execute the roadmap and integrate Anaplan with other systems and tools.
  4. Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through Anaplan.
  5. Translate business processes and requirements into technical requirements & design documentation.
  6. Develop and implement solutions to enhance process efficiency, data accuracy, and user adoption.
  7. Design, build, and deploy Anaplan models, dashboards, and reports to meet business requirements.
  8. Quickly respond to and resolve support issues and providing status updates
  9. Provide technical/application support and troubleshooting for Anaplan applications, working closely with end-users and stakeholders to resolve issues
  10. Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
  11. Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across Anaplan and integrated systems
  12. Perform data analysis and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  13. Communicate application updates, changes, and benefits to business stakeholders.
  14. Provide training and support to end-users.
  15. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources.
  16. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  17. Ensure timely project delivery to achieve desired outcomes.
  18. Stay up-to-date with Anaplan product releases, features, and best practices.
  19. Identify opportunities for application optimization and process improvement.
  20. Develop and implement solutions to enhance application performance and user experience.
Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  2. 5+ years of experience road mapping, planning, developing, implementing and supporting Anaplan
  3. Self-starter with capacity to work independently while managing multiple projects and tasks in a fast paced environment
  4. Experience with managing professional services vendors
  5. Demonstrated experience to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment, build consensus and promote the exchange of information.
  6. Demonstrated expertise effectively collaborating with stakeholders and users
  7. Anaplan technical skills
  8. Experience driving business outcomes by analyzing Service Level Agreements, priority, and operational metrics.
  9. Prior experience in a project team environment using structured methodologies for gathering business requirements, business processes, data conversions and system interfaces
Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree and/or equivalent experience in Finance, Information Technology or Business Administration
  2. Certified Anaplan Solution Architect
  3. Working knowledge of financial or sales planning
  4. Implementation of Anaplan in 2+ companies
  5. Prior experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) like Agile methodologies
  6. Demonstrated working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) - SQL, ANSI SQL, MySQL, PL/SQL in Oracle, PartiQL in AWS, SAS
Public Compensation:

$140,000/year to $195,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
