Description Job Summary
Reporting to the Application Lead Manager, the Application Lead is responsible for the technical administration and support of an assigned portfolio of applications, notably the College's Salesforce-based CRM solution. The incumbent is expected to be a capable functional user of these systems and understand their use cases, allowing them to analyze business processes, suggest improvements, and implement new solutions. The incumbent will ensure regular communication with the stakeholders of the assigned applications to stay up-to-date on needs and issues as they arise. The incumbent will work with the broader ITS team as necessary.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Provide technical and functional administration of an assigned portfolio of applications. This role will have the defined responsibility of supporting the College's Salesforce-based CRM solution, in addition to other applications. The incumbent will have an administrator role in assigned systems and is expected to perform related duties.
- Provide technical support to our end users on the assigned systems. Duties include, but are not limited to: triage and technical/functional troubleshooting of issues, escalation of issues as appropriate while remaining the point person, involvement in upgrades, providing functional training and expertise as needed, and working with the vendor as the main point of contact where necessary.
- Work with end user groups to maintain communication during upgrades and issues. Communicate to end users information that may impact the functionality of assigned systems.
- Maintain an understanding of the use cases of the assigned applications. The incumbent will be expected to use this understanding to suggest efficiencies and automations to improve business processes.
- Provide support to Advancement on the use of the College's Salesforce-based CRM solution.
- Maintain documentation of assigned applications.
- Be a technical and functional resource for the implementation of new technologies adjacent to the existing portfolio, with the above duties expected on new implementations. This includes evaluating and performing upgrades to existing applications as applicable.
- Meet regularly with principal users to understand needs, and regularly report to the broader ITS team needs, issues, and statuses of assigned platforms and their end users.
- In conjunction with providing technical support, build and sustain trusted relationships with customers to facilitate understanding of ITS services, clarify best practices, and communicate impactful changes.
- Provide cross-team support of other applications and end users as necessary for the ITS department.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of related experience.
- Experience administering software applications.
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements and building solutions specifications.
- Ability to learn new software applications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills required.
- Experience in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions is a plus but not required and can be trained.
- Experience with Workday is a plus but not required and can be trained.
- Higher education experience is strongly preferred.
- ITIL Foundations Certification or relevant experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong triage and troubleshooting skills required.
- Basic understanding of IT Infrastructure, Network, and Systems.

Additional information:
This is a full time, exempt level position with a salary range of $78,500-$80,000. The College is committed to providing competitive market pay for its employees. The College also offers a competitive benefits package for full-time staff, including:
