We are seeking an experienced and strategic Application Integration Architect with deep expertise in MuleSoft to design, implement, and optimize integration solutions across our enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and integrations using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and development teams to ensure seamless connectivity across our application ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement MuleSoft integration solutions using Anypoint Platform.
- Define integration patterns, architecture principles, and API standards.
- Integrate systems like Salesforce, SAP, Peoplesoft and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Architect and oversee the implementation of complex, secure, and scalable API-led connectivity solutions.
- Evaluate existing integration platforms and identify opportunities for optimization or consolidation.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on best practices in MuleSoft development, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with business analysts, system owners, and developers to ensure integration solutions meet business and technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards in all integration implementations.
- Manage and maintain MuleSoft Anypoint Platform environments, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for MuleSoft deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in production environments.
Requirements Required Qualifications: Technical Skills: - 5+ years of experience in MuleSoft development (Mule 4 preferred).
- Proficiency in Java 17, Spring Framework, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Expertise in DataWeave for data transformation.
- Experience with Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and Runtime Manager.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with integration patterns (e.g., EIP, SOA, microservices).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven) and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of security standards (OAuth, SAML, JWT).
- Enterprise Systems: Fleet Complete, Fleetio, NECS, Comdata, and BestPass (not required)
Soft Skills: - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to lead and mentor teams.
- Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- MuleSoft Certified Developer/Architect (Level 1 or 2) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience integrating with major enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, or Workday
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM/ERP integrations
- Strong understanding of SQL and Python
- Experience with Azure ETL tools such as Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks
- Knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Background in large-scale enterprise integration projects
