Job Summary: The Application Sales Engineer will play a key role in supporting product development and commercial strategy by providing in-depth technical knowledge and market insight. This role is responsible for preparing competitive proposals, conducting product gap analyses, and contributing to multi-year product planning. As a subject matter expert, you will engage directly with customers to deliver technical solutions and commercial support. This position offers a clear pathway to product management, making it ideal for individuals looking to grow into strategic leadership roles.
Essential Functions: - In depth understand and able to communicate application and usage of technology
- Generate technical and commercial proposals for new and existing solutions
- Support Customer and Sales technical questions with general product knowledge of assigned APCD products
- Triage customer problems for appropriate actions
- Develop relationships with Amphenol Sales & Distribution partners through training & visits
- Maintain & enhance sales collateral as well as product development pipeline
Required Skills/Qualifications: - Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong technical aptitude and / or engineering degree
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across all levels of the organization
- Exceptional organization skills with strong attention to detail
