Job Description: Job Title: Application Engineer Duration: 6+ Months (With further Extension or Conversion) Location: Hartford, CT (Onsite) Payrate: $70-75/ Hour (Depends on Experience) Position Overview :
- We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Agentic/Productivity/End User Generative AI Engineer to join our team.
- This individual will consult with various departments to help them understand and leverage the best Generative AI tools to enhance their productivity and efficiency.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with M365 Copilot's applications in financial services and possess expert knowledge in Copilot for Excel, Teams, M365 Copilot Chat, Outlook, and OneDrive.
- Additionally, the candidate should be proficient with Google Gemini and AWS Q toolsets and have experience with Copilot Studio, Copilot extensions, and Copilot Agents for use in SharePoint sites.
- The Engineer should be adept in working in a multi-tier IT Product/Service owner support model
Key Responsibilities: - Consult with departments to identify their productivity needs and recommend appropriate Generative AI tools.
- Provide expert guidance on the use of M365 Copilot in financial services, including Excel, Teams, M365 Copilot Chat, Outlook, and OneDrive.
- Demonstrate and implement solutions using Google Gemini and AWS toolsets.
- Develop and customize Copilot extensions and agents for SharePoint sites using Copilot Studio.
- Act as product owner/service owner for Productivity GENAI Services and capabilities
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on the effective use of Generative AI tools.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of AI tools into existing workflows.
- Report on business value of Collaborative GENAI toolset at the enterprise level including usage demand and adoption. Use tools such as Viva Insights and Analytics to report and provide dashboard to Leadership.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI and continuously improve the AI toolset offerings.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with M365 Copilot and its applications in financial services.
- Expertise in Copilot for Excel, Teams, M365 Copilot Chat, Outlook, and OneDrive.
- Expertise in using Azure GENAI service such as Azure OpenAI, AI Translator, Azure AI Search, AI Agent Service and AI Builder
- Proficiency with Google Gemini and AWS GENAI toolsets.
- Experience with Copilot Studio, Copilot extensions, and crafting agents for SharePoint sites.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced degree in a related field.
- Certifications in Microsoft, Google, or AWS technologies.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
