ABOUT THE ROLE As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for assisting the associates with preparing draft documents, organizing files, following up with various parties on comments and tasks, and facilitating transactions in general. Other key responsibilities include:
- Drafting documents related to finance and transactions, including NDAs, corporate resolutions and conditions precedents
- Proofreading and assisting with document preparation
- Maintaining precedents and files for various types of transactions
- Preparing document checklists and closing sets
- Liaising with other counsel, clients and third parties
ABOUT YOU We'd love to hear from you if you:
- Have strong written and spoken communication skills (for internal and external stakeholders)
- Can prioritise and handle competing demands in a fast-paced working environment
- Have competent computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Acrobat/PDF, PowerPoint
And have:
- A Law undergraduate degree, or non-law undergraduate degree plus GDL
- LPC or BPTC/Appropriate foreign qualification

Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
- Billing and Coding certificate or 1 year of customer service or claims processing with a healthcare facility or insurance company preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in customer service setting (registration; billing experience preferred)
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent customer service skills and computer knowledge required.
- Prior experience with medical billing and coding preferred
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Team player
- Ability to read and write medical terminology
