We seek a passionate and experienced Application Developer to assist us in building and maintaining scalable, secure applications that will propel our continued growth.
Responsibilities:
• Design, Develop, & Maintain: Create new features and maintain existing code solutions to support our E-Commerce platforms and internal business applications.
• Performance, Quality & Security: Optimize application performance, ensure code quality, and uphold security best practices to deliver responsive, robust solutions.
• Application Architecture: Build and maintain multi-tenant, scalable web applications, writing and consuming web-based APIs, with special attention to single-page application (SPA) frameworks.
• ERP Integration: Work with Sage 500 ERP and Service Stack to integrate and streamline business processes within our technology stack.
• Collaboration & Requirement Gathering: Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to gather, clarify, and refine requirements.
• Data Modeling & Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to develop appropriate data models and schemas, contributing to feature/user story definition.
• Code Reviews & Standards: Conduct code reviews to ensure strong software hygiene, testability, and adherence to SDLC standards and internal policies.
• Independence & Initiative: Take ownership of tasks and projects, demonstrating the ability to work with minimal supervision once oriented.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of professional software development experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant field is preferred but not required. We value real-world experience equally, so if you have strong industry experience in lieu of a degree, we encourage you to apply.
Technical Skills:
Strong background in C , ASP.NET, VB.NET, and .NET Framework / .NET 6.0 - 9.0.
SQL expertise, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, optimization).
Comfortable with front-end languages and technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and JSON.
Familiarity with SPA frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, or similar).
Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Exposure to Sage 500 ERP and Service Stack is a strong plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience:
MVVM
Version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Background in E-Commerce or similar multi-line business environments.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
