CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - Java & Web Technologies opening for our client in Atlanta, GA. Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 9 months
Duties: - Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications using Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and AWS Cloud Services.
- Develop front-end components using Angular 18 and integrate with backend services.
- Build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Node.js where necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize application performance.
- Lead a team/squad in project execution, ensuring best coding practices and Agile methodologies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
Skills: - Expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices development.
- Strong front-end development skills with Angular 18.
- Experience with AWS cloud services for deployment, monitoring, and scalability.
- Proficiency in Node.js for backend development where required.
- Team leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide developers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience: - Minimum 5+ years of Java/J2EE application development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Proven track record of working with AWS cloud services.
- Experience in leading development teams or squads.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
