This is a contingent position based upon contract award. Responsibilities
SkyePoint Decisions, Inc. is seeking an Application Developer - SME with strong Javascript abilities. This position will support a DHS contract and will have overall responsibility in application coding design and standards. This is a great opportunity to get in on a growing government contract.
This is a remote position.
Responsibilities: Provides technical leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. - Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
- Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
- Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
- Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
- Develop and maintain advanced scripts, business rules, and client scripts.
- Support data migration design and activities from legacy systems to ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy and consistency during the transition.
- Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations to validate functionality, data integrity, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: - Must have 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Must have a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
- MUST HAVE A CURRENT CLEARANCE AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A DHS PUBLIC TRUST.
- Experience with developing and managing data models
- Experience designing and developing solutions with PaaS solutions such as ServiceNOW in an Agile Software Development environment
- Experience designing and developing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) with Representation State Transfer (REST), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
- Experience with providing support and technical advice during conceptualization, development, and implementation phases to transform requirements into working solutions. This includes involvement with users to define system scope and objectives, as well as contributing to design decisions.
- Technical proficiency with developing database queries, batch jobs, and stored procedures with PL/SQL and NoSQL
- Experience with database programming using SQL, Oracle DB/ PostgreSQL DB / MySQL
- Experience developing solutions using Message Services, including management of Apache ActiveMQ / AWS SQS
- Experience developing web applications with responsive UI frameworks to support multiple platforms including compatibility with Chrome, Internet Explorer, and iOS
- Experience with all aspects of configuration management planning including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits, configuration documentation
- Experience engineering and implementing DevOpsSec (CI/CD) pipelines and incorporate security protocols while deploying infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Experience with Cloud and AWS Administration, and supporting set up of AWS Infrastructure
- Strong Javascript abilities (this will be tested during the interview process).
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States.

Compensation: Salary Range: $115,000-$124,000
The SkyePoint Decisions salary range for this position is a general guideline only. It represents an estimated range for this position and is just one piece of our total compensation package.
Salary at SkyePoint is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work schedule, the candidate's combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, market data and business considerations.
