What We Need Corpay is currently looking to hire an Application Developer within our Stored Value Solutions (SVS) division based in Louisville, Kentucky. In the role, the Application Developer will design, develop, and implement applications to support business requirements. Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
How We Work As an Application Developer you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Design, developing and maintaining custom applications or configuration of corporate application systems and services
- Analyzing and designing application systems encompassing the development, modification and translation of user requirements
- Planning, investigating and proposing systems and application solutions
- Preparing workflow for writing, testing and maintaining computer programs
- Preparing program specifications and diagrams and developing coding logic
- Encoding, testing debugs and installing the operating program and procedures in coordination with Operations and Infrastructure and Departments
- Creating and updating user manual and other documentation
- Correcting, testing and documenting changes to existing programs
- Conducting training and presentation
- Supporting existing applications
- Night and weekend rotation required
Qualifications & Skills - Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- 1-2 years' work experience in a related field
- Hands-on experience in object-oriented language/frameworks, relational database management systems, web technologies, and/or other software application development platforms.
- Able to collaborate in a team environment
- Stay up to date with recent technology developments and application development best practices.
- Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives.
- Excellent communication, design, and documentation skills are required.
