Job Overview: The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is seeking an
Application Developer 3 (AD3) to assist with upgrading the
Resource First Portal (RFP) system code to comply with
WCAG Accessibility standards. The RFP application is built using
ASP.Net, C .Net, .NET MVC, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be a
self-motivated developer who can work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. This role requires a
strong technical background, the ability to meet strict deadlines, and
proficiency in modern application development frameworks.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform analysis, design, coding, and testing of application code.
- Troubleshoot and fix application bugs as needed.
- Upgrade existing applications to ensure WCAG accessibility compliance.
- Convert monolithic applications into microservices-based architectures.
- Record, verify, log, and document testing results.
- Maintain versioning and source control using TFS.
- Develop new applications using the Angular Framework.
- Prepare and present recommendations for issue/risk remediation to team leads and managers.
Required Qualifications: - Microsoft .NET Framework - 3+ years
- SQL Server 2016 or higher - 3+ years
- SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) - 1+ year
- Microsoft TFS (Team Foundation Server) or similar version control tool - 1+ year
