Job Description
Only qualified "Application DBA" candidates located near the "Irving TX" area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence (2-3 days in office 2-3 remote)
Education

Technical Requirements
•Experience with Oracle RDBMS on RHEL 7 or 8
•Oracle database optimization for hybrid data processing
•Experience with PostgreSQL SQL Server and MySQL is a plus
•Familiarity with CyberArk Redhat OpenShift Autosys and ServiceNow is a plus
•Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus
The Reference Data Management team is seeking to hire an experienced Application DBA to provide critical support for enhancements across the team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, accountability, and a collaborative mindset, along with deep technical expertise and a proven track record in the financial industry.

Responsibilities
•Provide application database support to the reference data team for its enhancements
•Ensure availability and performance tuning of the databases supporting the system
•Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient use of hardware resources and maintain high availability and performance
•Proactively monitor database systems to ensure secure services with minimal downtime
•Provide trend analysis to the service management team for informed resource decisions
•Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate parties including the Oracle development team
•Improve and maintain databases including rollout and upgrade activities
•Implement and release database changes submitted by the development team
