CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant AWS Cloud opening for our client in Denver, CO.

Location: Denver, CO

Duration: 6 months

Duties:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance AWS cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and translate them into AWS cloud solutions.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using automation tools.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues using AWS CloudWatch and other observability tools.
  • Support containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Ensure best practices for security, reliability, and cost-efficiency in cloud architecture and operations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud strategy and governance processes.
Skills:
  • Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
  • Proficiency in IaC tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines with automation tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
  • Ability to assess and recommend cloud solutions aligned with organizational needs.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in cloud infrastructure and DevOps roles.
  • Proven track record of delivering AWS-based solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Previous experience in an Application Consultant or similar role preferred.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional required.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00/hour to $80.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
