Reporting to the Application Services Manager,this position is responsible for defining customer requirements, developingfunctional application specifications, systems design criteria, and end-usereducation pertaining to the Hospital Information Systems. This position managesand drives information system design projects throughout the implementationlife cycle from initial analysis and design all the way through toimplementation, user acceptance, and post implementation support. Serves as theprimary liaison between RCH IS team and other technical teams, functionalteams, and vendors. This position also provides ongoing development,maintenance of software as specified and required by the organization andhandles customer requests and needs in an efficient manner. Strong customer serviceskills and attitude, and patient care advocacy are mandatory. As an analyst, coordinatescommunications and tasks with IS Team Members, clients, and vendors supplyingvarious software applications .

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
- Associate in a Relevant Area required, Bachelor Degree in a Relevant Area preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience implementing and supporting Healthcare Information Systems required .
- Experience successfully leading high-visibility healthcare projects and enterprise-level initiatives preferred.
- Experience documenting business and information system requirements applicable to a health care delivery organization preferred.
- Experience applying project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools, including development of project plans and document project meetings and status preferred.
- HL7, ANSI X12, EDI, and Interface Engine experience preferred.
- Experience developing and presenting business analyses and plans preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
- CAHIMS, CPHIMS, ITIL, CAPM, PMP Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMS), Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS), IT Infrastructure Library, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) , Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
