OVERVIEW: The Apparel Retail Sales Leader plays a vital role in both maintaining brand standards and enhancing the teammate experience. Under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, you will become the in-store expert for your business/department. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service while directing and inspiring your teammates. Leading by example, showing empathy, resilience, optimism, and collaboration are key to your success in this role.
- Support building a strong team by participating in in-store interviews and department tours.
- Cultivate a people-first culture by connecting with each teammate in the store, fostering mutual trust and respect, and contributing to a strong store recognition culture.
- Plan and organize store operations 30 days out with the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager, including aligning on workforce needs to execute daily tasks, projects, and store events.
- Strategically utilize teammates to ensure brand standards are met, programs are executed effectively, and tasks are prioritized appropriately.
- Uphold company standards for merchandising and presentation, including floor sets, signage, pricing changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
- Assist the store leadership team in supervising daily store operations while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Help train teammates on company procedures and programs, including onboarding new employees and cross-training current staff.
- Prioritize coaching and development for yourself and others, providing hands-on guidance and explaining the rationale behind tasks and processes.
- Lead by example to support the organization's vision, helping teammates understand how their roles contribute to overall goals and an exceptional shopping experience.
- Create an inclusive store environment where all teammates and customers feel welcome, safe, and respected.

QUALIFICATIONS: - Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Prior retail or customer-focused experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift items weighing 15 to 35 lbs. repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Capability to work for extended periods (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Comfortable working at heights greater than 4 feet using ladders or aerial lifting devices.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for up to 2 hours continuously.
Targeted Pay Range: $15.50 - $23.50, with starting rates varying based on location, experience, and position offered. The actual hourly pay will meet or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
