A day in the life

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Hospitality finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting multiple business units on our complex by processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and maintaining strong relationships with hotel teams and suppliers. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-service focused, and familiar with the hospitality industry's unique financial processes.

Key Accountabilities :
  • Process high volumes of vendor invoices for multiple business units on the property
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents (3-way matching)
  • Ensure accurate coding of invoices in line with property and departmental budgets
  • Monitor approval workflows and follow up with the operations team as needed
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Prepare weekly payment runs(checks, ACH, wires) in accordance with company policy
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure compliance with tax and legal requirements (e.g., W-9s, 1099s, COI's)
  • Respond to team members and vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist in month-end closing activities and audits
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 1-3 years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience; preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferred.
  • Have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to seamlessly perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge in Acumatica and Craftable a plus
