Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable AP Accountant to join our team in Carson, CA. This temp-to-hire position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term employment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting and a solid understanding of debits and credits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Prepare and review accounts payable reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile accounts payable accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accounts payable records and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address accounts payable-related inquiries.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Strong understanding of debits and credits.
  • 1-3 years of experience with accounts payable processing and accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
