Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable AP Accountant to join our team in Carson, CA. This temp-to-hire position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term employment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting and a solid understanding of debits and credits.
Key Responsibilities: - Process and manage accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Prepare and review accounts payable reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile accounts payable accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accounts payable records and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to address accounts payable-related inquiries.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Strong understanding of debits and credits.
- 1-3 years of experience with accounts payable processing and accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
