Job Overview:

Are you interested in managing antenna development projects? Do you want to work with a team passionate about electronics and complex Radar design in the space and airborne sectors? The SAR Product team is seeking a self-motivated Antenna Engineer to contribute to the development of Active Antennas for airborne and space SAR instruments. You will join a multi-skilled team to manage technical projects, including designing antennas, specifying requirements, and validation, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, and quality. You will also propose innovations in RF design and testing, sharing knowledge with the SAR team and collaborating with Digital and Radar engineers.

Your Responsibilities include:

  • Technical Project Management: Oversee antenna development projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Antenna Design: Develop antennas for space and airborne applications, specifically for SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) instruments.
  • Specification & Validation: Participate in defining system specifications and validating antenna performance.
  • RF Design & Testing: Propose technical innovations and contribute to RF design and testing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Digital and Radar engineers to ensure seamless integration of antenna systems.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share expertise and progress with the SAR Product team.

Profile and Requirements:

  • 5-year degree (engineer or equivalent) in electronics.
  • Strong experience in antenna network design and testing techniques.
  • Experience in requirements analysis, solution design, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with antenna and EM simulation software such as HFSS and CST.
  • Experience with antenna qualification testing.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • A passion for space technology and innovation.
  • Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in French and English, with proven fluency at the C2 level in both languages.
  • Location: Toulouse.
