Charter - Mid Angular Developer

Duration: C2H - initial duration is 6 months, will either convert or extend

Project Scope:
  • Supporting new/enhanced features (video specifically) on Charters Website and their mobile application
  • Converge Technology
    • Transitioning to Ionic and Capacitor (hybrid FW opposed to their current Angular and Xamarin FW's), this team will help support the transition/addition


Team Culture/Size/Soft Skills needed:
  • Net new team - will consist of Automation QA's and Angular Developers
    • Team is just 5 people but looking to grow to 15
  • Matrixed teams: Design, DA, PMO


Must have skills/experience/certs and/or technologies:
  • 3+ years' experience
  • Angular
  • JavaScript
  • Micro Front Ends
  • GraphQL (Apollo)
  • NgRx


Day to Day responsibilities:
  • Will be helping support Spectrum.net's ecommerce platform and My Spectrum Mobile Application
  • Help manage application requirements and collaborate with other teams (dev, product, design) to ensure quality features and user experience
  • Troubleshooting portals and features
  • Running on LEAN principals of Agile development
  • Daily stand ups and workshops to go through backlog
  • Contribute to new features on the front end of the application

Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 10+ years of experience.

Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms and functional programming

Strong, demonstrated understanding of front-end web application development, including Angular/NG, vanilla JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and associated technologies (build systems, cloud-based environments, full-stack architectures, etc.)

Strong understanding of best practices in front-end web application architecture and development Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies
Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
