Opening for Anesthesiology Physician in Sedalia, MOColumbia 60m; Kansas City 90mFull TimePermanent PositionEmployed Opportunity Seeking BC/BE Anesthesiology Physician to join team in Sedalia, MissouriOverview:Join 2 BC Anesthesiologists / 5 CRNA team1:8 primary call and 1:8 backup; Backup call is one week at a time with rare call back.Must be within a 30 minute response time while on call and most take call from home.Anesthesiologists provide medical direction; surgeons will provide supervision when CRNAs are first call.108 bed hospital with 5 OR suites and a separate C-section suite, 2 Endoscopy suites.EMR Meditech; OR charting is on paper.3200 OR cases per year: - 26% Inpatient cases, 74% Outpatient cases. - General Surgery, OB/Gyn, ENT, Ortho, Urology and Endoscopy. - Healthy Peds ENT Ear Tubes, Tonsils, Frenulectomies. - Bread & Butter Anesthesia. - Most cases finished by 3pm.480 deliveries per year: - 34% C/S rate, 22% primary C/S. - 62% of patients choose to have Epidurals.CRNA provides primary coverage when taking primary call.Neuraxial & regional skills required.
