Job Description: (Vascular Surgery)

About this role: As an Advanced Practice Provider with Vein & Vascular Surgery, you will work within a collaborative team of three vascular surgeons and two other APPs committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will engage in a diverse workflow that includes surgical first assist, inpatient rounding, and outpatient clinic visits with opportunities for professional growth in a specialized vascular surgery environment.
- You will practice at Intermountain Health St. George Regional Hospital with additional clinical coverage in St. George, as well as Cedar City and Mesquite, Nevada (once per month at each satellite location after training)
- Your schedule will be Monday - Friday, with variable hours based on surgical schedule and clinical needs
- You'll have 10 call shifts per month, covering nights, weekends and holidays
- Relocation assistance available (if applicable)
In addition:
- Assess, evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with vascular conditions
- Educate patients on conditions, treatment options, and risk factor modifications
- Participate in open vascular surgery cases, endovascular procedures, and in-office vein treatments
- Work alongside vascular surgeons while also seeing patients independently in clinic
- Round on inpatients independently and in conjunction with a supervising physician

What you'll bring:- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Licensed as PA or NP in the state of Utah or able to obtain
- Board certification by AANP, ANCC or NCCPA
- BLS and ACLS certification
- DEA and full prescriptive authority in Utah
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
Preferred Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of experience as an NP or PA in any clinical setting
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an NP or PA in a surgical setting is strongly preferred
- If a new graduate, acute care RN experience is strongly preferred
