Practice setting: Hospital - Level 2 Trauma
Patient load: Cases include adult hearts (no peds hearts), heads, ortho, vascular, GI, neuro, urology, pediatrics, neonates, plastics, OB, and general surgery. 3200 deliveries annually, no VBACs.
Ages: All ages
Procedures required: All types of general anesthesia, cardiac anesthesia (if cardiac capable), OB, neuro, ortho, vascular, GI, plastics, and pediatric cases. Spinals, epidurals, and regional anesthesia required.
Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology, active state license, ACLS, BLS
Other: 100% supervision model including during call. In-house CRNAs 24/7. Physician call varies by site: Beeper call 1:4 with 30-minute radius and post-call day off or 24-hour in-house call 1:5 with post-call day off. Weekend call required 2 weekends per month.
