Anesthesiology Physician

Coverage Needed:

• July 14, 2025 - December 26, 2025
• Coverage dates include: 07/14 - 07/18/2025, 07/21 - 07/25/2025, 07/28 - 08/01/2025, 08/04 - 08/08/2025, 08/18 - 08/22/2025, 09/15 - 09/19/2025, 09/29 - 10/03/2025, 10/20 - 10/24/2025, 10/27 - 10/31/2025, 11/17 - 11/21/2025, 11/24 - 11/28/2025, 12/15 - 12/19/2025, 12/22 - 12/26/2025.
• On-call requirements include 1st and 2nd call from 7am-7pm plus call from 7pm-7am, and 3rd and 4th call with regular weekday shifts.
• Weekend and holiday on-call for 24 hours from 7am-7am.
• Preferred schedule: Monday-Thursday with Fridays off, some Thursday first calls with Tuesday second calls.

Clinical Details:

• Primary anesthesiologist for bread and butter surgical cases, with a focus on ortho and general surgery.
• Call includes OB anesthesia; must be within 15 minutes of the location.
• 9 main ORs available.
• Required procedures: All bread and butter surgeries, regional blocks for OR cases.
• Preferred procedures: OB/Gyn, ortho, general surgery, plastic surgery, vascular, colo-rectal surgery, ENT, GI, Urology.
• Support staff includes CRNAs, anesthesia techs, PAs, nurses, and OR techs.
• EMR system: EPIC.

Requirements:

• Must have an active NY license and a clean file.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Ability to cover all or majority of the specified dates.
• Experience with regional blocks required; no outpatient pain management.
