This state-designated Level 1 AdultTrauma Center and ABA-verified Burn Center offers a dynamic environment forboth clinical practice and teaching, with opportunities for academicappointment.

ClinicalPractice Overview: Manageanesthesia for a wide range of surgeries: Labor & Delivery, Neonatal andgeneral pediatric surgery, general surgery, robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT,plastic surgery, burn treatment, level 1 trauma, orthopedics, podiatric surgery,special procedures outside the OR, utilize TEE equipment for perioperative andcritical care patients. Approximately11,000 anesthesia encounters per year.

CallSchedule: In-housecall 4-5 times per month.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Provideanesthesia care for high-acuity adult and pediatric patients.
  • Superviseand teach residents in emergency medicine and surgery, CRNAs, student nurseanesthetists, and medical students.
  • Collaboratewith a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume, high-complexity setting.
Requirements: BoardCertified/Eligible in Anesthesiology.Strong interpersonal skills andflexibility to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.Interestin academic medicine and teaching.
