Providence St. Peter Hospital is seeking a Physician Advisor to join a highly dedicated team serving both the Providence St. Peter Hospital and the Providence Centralia Hospital. This is a unique and elevated Physician Advisor role where you will function at a higher level using your extensive PA background to: influence service area length of stay goals, lead by example, act as a change agent to achieve programmatic goals, and demonstrate operational effectiveness within the organization. This is in conjunction with responsibilities such as daily rounds, direct physician interaction, coding and documentation, executive leadership collaboration, strategic support, and more. - Proven experience as a Physician Advisor with a strong background in influencing and driving change
- Extensive knowledge of metrics related to length of stay, including geometric mean length of stay and severity of illness adjusted length of stay
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to function independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with physicians, executive leadership, and other key stakeholders
- A commitment to operational effectiveness and value-based care initiatives
- Support 2 locations: Providence St. Peter Hospital and Providence Centralia Hospital
- Role responsibilities are at 0.5 FTE
- Compensation is between $156,000 and $170,560 per year
- The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them
