Job Opportunity: Physician Anesthesiology in Muskegon, MI

Join a dedicated and professional Anesthesia Team at a state-of-the-art hospital in Muskegon, Michigan, designated as a Level 2 trauma center. This facility boasts a modern infrastructure with 20 operating rooms, 5 heart and vascular rooms, 6 endoscopy rooms, and 2 c-section suites. Experience a diverse range of cases including orthopedic, gynecological, ENT, complex vascular, neurosurgery, and interventional cardiology. The practice offers ample opportunities for personal anesthesia delivery while also focusing on supporting CRNAs.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical direction over CRNAs while also personally performing anesthesia.
  • Manage a general and complex range of cases, including orthopedic elective and trauma, gynecology, ENT, and cardiothoracic procedures.
  • Participate in the Surgical Optimization Service aimed at improving OR efficiency and patient care quality.
  • Utilize peripheral nerve blocks and advanced regional techniques to promote enhanced recovery.
  • Share/rotate call and holiday schedules to maintain flexible compensation and work-life balance.
  • Open to accepting new graduate candidates eager to further their careers.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (must achieve Board Certification within 2 years).
  • Significant interest in full-time or part-time employment.
  • Proficiency in performing basic peripheral nerve blocks is essential; additional training will be provided as needed.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Michigan Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
  • DEA Registration (or willingness to obtain).
  • ACLS & BLS Certifications (or willingness to obtain).
