The Pediatric Anesthesia Physician will beresponsible for managing a diverse case mix, including neonatal intensive careunit (NICU) cases (excluding cardiac surgeries), pediatric orthopedicprocedures (excluding spine), ENT surgeries, general pediatric surgeries,gastrointestinal procedures, and MRI sedations. The physician must beproficient in providing anesthesia for infants, pediatric patients, and adults.

Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts available upon request)
  • Overnight pager call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Weekend pager call from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Sunday
  • Candidates should commit to at least one week of coverage per month

Qualifications:
  • Fellowship-trained and Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology
  • Active Pennsylvania state medical license (or willingness to obtain)
  • ACLS and PALS certifications
  • Experience with neonatal, pediatric, and adult anesthesia required
