Saint Alphonsus Cancer Care Center is seeking a locum Hospitalist Oncology physician to join their team.
Details:
- Practice Setting: Inpatient rounding, admitting, consulting
- Patient Population: Inpatient Oncology unit with both oncology and hematology patients
- Support Staff: Outpatient Oncologists available for support or questions
- Inpatient Coverage: Locum will be responsible for treating both oncology and hematology patients
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Requirements for Credentialing:
- Essential Documents:
- MD diploma
- Internship/residency/fellowship certificates
- All medical licenses
- DEA certificate
- Board Certification
- Life support cards: BLS
- Current and previous certificates of insurance
- Driver's license
- Professional color photo/headshot
- CMEs for the past 2 years
- Immunization records including TB, Flu, HepB, Tdap, Varicella, and COVID
- References
- Case logs
Submission Requirements:
- Certifications Required:
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Medical Oncology/Hematology
- ID license in hand
- CSR, DEA, BLS
- Additional Requirements:
- Availability at the time of name clear
- Clean background/malpractice record
Preferences:
- Local candidates are highly preferred, avoiding the need for flights
- COVID vaccination is required to work at this facility
On-Call and Weekend:
- Participation in on-call and weekend duties is required.
