Other Details: A hospital-based cardiac rehab unit supported by six cardiologists, one cardiothoracic vascular surgeon, one thoracic surgeon, and CRNAs in all cases is seeking a board-certified cardiac anesthesiologist for scheduled and call coverage. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with weeknight call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and 24-hour weekend call. The facility uses GE Centricity for outpatient and Cerner for inpatient charting, and it has 228 beds with an average daily census of 2 10 adult and geriatric patients. The provider will handle approximately 120 pump cases annually, including cardiac surgery, coronary artery bypass, valve replacement, thoracic and vascular surgery, cath lab cases, and endovascular procedures. A Pennsylvania license, DEA, and TEE certification are required; a cardiac fellowship and 1 2 years of experience are preferred. Coverage is needed for May , May 25 June 8, and June . IMLC candidates may be considered if options are limited.
