Facility in Dubois, PA seeking Cardiac Anesthesiology locums coverage Rates: $450/hr Position Details
  • Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital (228 beds)
  • Start Date: May 16, 2025
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift Schedule:
    • Monday Friday: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
    • Night call: 4:00 PM 7:00 AM (weekdays)
    • 24-hour call on weekends
  • Coverage Dates Needed:
    • May
    • May 25 June 8
    • June
  • EMR: GE Centricity (outpatient), Cerner (inpatient)
Responsibilities
  • Provide cardiac anesthesia coverage for a range of procedures, including:
    • Cardiac surgery, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), valve replacement
    • Thoracic and vascular surgery
    • Endovascular and cath lab procedures
  • Average 120 pump cases per year
  • Collaborate with 6 cardiologists, 1 cardiothoracic vascular surgeon, 1 thoracic surgeon, and CRNAs
Requirements
  • Board Certification: Required (Anesthesiology Cardiac)
  • Fellowship: Cardiac fellowship preferred
    License: Pennsylvania required (IMLC considered in limited cases)
  • Certifications: TEE certification required, DEA required
  • Experience: 1 2 years preferred
  • Credentialing:
    • Temps: 2 3 weeks (clean background required)
    • Full privileges: days
