This opportunity is at a 101-bed acute care hospital with a 19-bed emergency department and an established anesthesia team of 2 physicians and 6 CRNAs. The role includes daily call shared with 1 Anesthesiologist and handling cases such as Orthopedic, Urology, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Spine, and GI. The case mix is 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient, with an average inpatient census of 35-45 and a monthly surgical volume of 180-200 cases. The hospital runs 3-4 ORs daily, covers C-sections, and has a 10-bay SDS unit and a 5-bay PACU. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA). ICU duties involve assisting with difficult intubations and line insertions in the ED, ICU, and during emergent inpatient situations.
