Call is required and can be arranged in multi-day stretches or alternating rotations based on availability, with 24-hour beeper call on weekdays and weekends. The role involves a heavy focus on heart cases and general procedures, with case volume varyingtypically 1-2 open heart surgeries per week and 1-2 full days of EP/cath lab cases per week. The EMR system is Meditech, and the model operates with no supervision. If an MD role, 100% of procedures are personally performed by the physician.
