Anesthesiologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility

A surgery center is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.
Downtown East Lansing is filled with fun shops and restaurants to head to while in your free time. There is music, yoga and even trivia offered on different days to keep you full, exercised and more. There are also many wineries, distilleries and breweries around the town that you could unwind at like American Fifth Spirits, BAD Brewing Company and Burgdorfs Winery LLC.
This multispecialty ASC, established in 2020, is a smaller center with a collaborative team that also supports other local facilities. The decision-makers include the Chief and Medical Director, and they typically make hiring decisions within one week. The center runs two ORs per day with a mixed staffing modelcases are medically directed 34 days per week, while the remaining days are MD-only. Anesthesiologists do their own cases 23 days per week and work alongside CRNAs in either a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio. CRNAs enjoy 12 days per week of complete autonomy. Case volume includes ENT (including pediatrics 6 months and older), blocks, orthopedics, podiatry, plastics, spine, and general surgery.
